Well, I'm contemplating a new look...thoughts? Comments? I'm thinking I look fetching as a red head. :)

I think it's fantastic, but probably a lot of upkeep on your fair hair. however, the side part and swoopy bangs are PERFECT for you, so def try that if nothing else. and hell, if you have to end up going back to blonde anyway, at least you'll have some kick awesome pictures of yourself as a red head!

Yeah my only reservation is the upkeep because of my natural hair color - the roots will be annoying...but I think that's a good point Lynsye - the hair style for sure, the bangs are definitely perfect! Thanks! :)

reminds me, I have to touch up my red hair, though I'm a DIY red gal, not a salon red gal ;) it's risky though that way, so first time I'd go for salon definitely cause you have to find out how dye reacts to your head.

Wow! Looks great! not everyone can pull off being a redhead. A tip....wash your hair in cool water. The molecules in the red dye are large and will stay on your hair longer if you wash and condition with cool water. The warm water opens the hair folicules where cool water keeps the folicules closed, trapping the dye longer. It also makes your hair pretty shiny. I write from experience. It was a tip my hair stylest gave me. Also, use a shampoo that helps keep the red color fresh, I use Pantene. It helps prolong the color too. It also helps it not become brassy.
I think it looks good! If you're feeling adventurous go for it! :) I do agree that red is hard to keep up (I dyed mine red for several years, and the roots looked terrible even though I'm a brunette naturally). And I agree with the comment that recommended getting it done at a salon, especially with your natural fair hair color... I once worked with a girl who was a natural blonde, tried to DIY dye her hair strawberry blonde... lets just say it was around Easter and she was crying that she looked like an easter egg (it came out PINK *LOL*).

I think it looks good...maybe a little less intense of a shade of red though.
